The monthly offerings were more substantial than the daily offerings, with two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs being offered, plus grain and drink offerings. These are in addition to the daily offerings, and coupled with a sin offering of one kid of the goats.
For Passover, all the people were to eat unleavened bread for seven days. The first day involves a holy convocation, with no work being done. Offerings would be made of bulls, rams, and lambs. There would be a grain offering and oil. For seven days, this offering will be made as a sweet aroma to the Lord. On the seventh day, there will be another holy convocation with no customary work.
This Passover celebration would be to commemorate the deliverance of Israel from Egypt. It is important to commemorate the miracles sent from God, in whatever form. When we celebrate the goodness of the Lord, we lift up Christ and we build our faith within ourselves and each other. Lift up the powerful greatness of God and sound out the wonderful works of the Lord for all to hear!
