God lets the children of Israel know that there is hope, even in the judgment for their sins. When they realize their evil ways and return to God, He will deliver them from the nations to which they were scattered. He will cleanse them from the sin of their captivity, and bless them even more than their fathers, and they will love Him with all their heart ans soul, and they will live! Then the curses that were upon them will fall upon their enemies, and they will obey the commandments of the Lord all their days.
The Word of the Lord will come near the people of God again. God has set before His people life and good, death and evil. His will is for them to follow Him wholeheartedly. However, if they turn away from God, they will surely perish. God called heaven and earth as witnesses that the choice was theirs.
We have a choice each day whether we will serve God and follow His commandments and will, or whether we will reject the voice of God and do evil in spite of the promise of His blessing. Choose life!
