Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord!  My name is Dr. Greg Sloop.  I am married to my beautiful wife, Lisa, and we have three great children(Hannah, Meghan, and Matthew) and three amazing grandchildren(Genesis, Elijah, and Annabelle).  I love the Lord with all my heart and seek to serve Him and His kingdom every day.  I love to preach the gospel and write about the Word of God.

I come from a family of strong church background. My father’s family are a mix of German Lutherans and Scotch-Irish Protestants. My mother’s family is a mix of Baptists and Congregational Holiness (Pentecostal) members. My immediate family affiliated with the Church of God in the early 1960’s after they settled in Kannapolis, NC following my father’s service in the US Army. Both my parents were mill workers during my childhood, and my mother pursued a career in nursing while I was in college.

I have had the privilege of pursuing an education, and it has become a big part of my life. I hold a BS in Chemistry from Davidson College, a Master of Divinity from Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Marriage and Family from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. I have also taught for Lee University in their School of Religion, serving primarily at the Charlotte Center for Ministerial Studies as Assistant Professor and Director of the Center.

I am Christian, Protestant, Evangelical, and Pentecostal in doctrine. I am a member and credentialed minister in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). I serve on many boards and committees in this denomination of which I have been a member all my life. I serve as the Lead Pastor of the Kannapolis Church of God in North Carolina. It is a well-established church, founded in 1914, serving about 850 members.

My ministry has covered many different arenas of service. I have served as evangelist, conference speaker, youth pastor, family pastor, Christian school administrator, minister of music, counselor, university professor and administrator, and lead pastor.

  1. How is life treating you over there? I believe yours cannot be worse than my current situation. I lost my job a few months back, and life has become a living hell for me ever since then. I hardly feed on 3 square meals per day. I am considering doing something I will regret if I do not get help anytime soon, which is why I am approaching you for help.I am in desperate need of money to survive and also to start up something in which I can begin to make some money and kick start my whole life again. I would be ever grateful if you can assist me, and I also promise to pay back when my business starts paying me. Yours truly beloved friend
