Benjamin ended up receiving his inheritance between Judah and the children of Joseph. The cities in this territory included many with significance, such as Jericho, Gibeon, and Jerusalem. Benjamin was younger brother to Joseph, so it is appropriate that Benjamin would be next to Joseph’s children. It is important to notice that Judah, the first to go out into battle in formation, was right next to Benjamin as well.
Benjamin received a serious possession of land, in line with his favored status among the children of Israel. God has a special calling for each of us. We must look for that place of favor and dwell within it.
