Psalm 30:4–5 (NKJV): 4 Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.  5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

God’s Anger can be Directed at the Unrighteous.  Sometimes we misunderstand the evil of the enemy or the testing of our faith as the anger of God.

Either way,

God’s anger only lasts for a moment.

God’s favor is for life. Do not allow the problems of life to get your eyes off the favor of God. His favor lasts.

Weeping = Sorrow, Disappointment, Fear, Loss

May Endure – Satan’s hold over you is temporary. It will not last forever. It does not have the staying power of the favor of God

Night – the dark night of your soul may seem like it could end you, but the night has a prescribed end. The devil is like a dog on a chain. He can only go as far as God will allow, and He said you would not be tempted above that you are able to bear, but will with the temptation provide a way Of escape!

JOY! The happy contentment of the soul. Somebody needs joy.  Let the Lord give you joy.

Comes – definite action with continuing effect

In the morning – the morning is coming and it will stay!
