Luke 8:1–3 (NKJV)
8 Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, 2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, 3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.
This short passage demonstrates the effect a real relationship with Christ can have on an individual. When a person is freed from their sins and/or bondages, he or she cannot help but be grateful. The women spoken of here followed Jesus when able, and provided for His needs. How thankful are we to Jesus for salvation, deliverance, provision, healing, and for His love? Think on that today and offer Him some praise, worship, and provision. He is worth it!

Personally, as for me and my family we are exceedingly grateful Jesus led us through homelessness and poverty to teach us about His great faithfulness, deliverance and love. We did not expect to go through that difficult season but as we followed Him in faith He never let us down.
Thank you for this post.
