The five kings who fought against Joshua ran away and hid in a cave at Makkedah. Joshua ordered that large stones be rolled against the mouth of the cave, and that guards watch the cave. They finished annihilating the armies of these kings and the whole region feared Israel and refused to speak of them. Joshua had the five kings brought out of the cave, told his captains to put their feet on the necks of the kings, and then proclaimed that God would do so to all their enemies. He then killed them and hung them on five trees until evening. Then they soldiers cast their bodies into the cave in which they hid themselves and covered the opening with stones.
When God gives you victory over anything, declare it! Do not ignore it, but testify of the power of God at work in your life. Put your enemy to shame and declare the glory of the Lord!
