The Beautiful Puzzle Part Three – Becoming Wise

Ephesians 4:11–16 (NKJV)  11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

No Longer Children

The acquisition of wisdom brings maturity
Maturity helps one overcome:
Insecurity
Over-Sensitivity
Susceptibility to Temptation

Stronger Than The Wind

The wind blows where it will
Doctrinal beliefs changes from time to time.
Cultures try to adapt God to their own personal or societal situation
We must be stronger than the winds of change!

Stronger Than the Enemy

People will try to bring you into their own world of confusion
People will try to justify their own way of living
People will bully, manipulate, or trick their way into your heart and change your way of life into a false system of belief.
We must stand strong in our faith!

Connecting With the Savior

Speaking the Truth in Love
The Head, Jesus Christ
Growing Up

Side Note on Thankfulness

When faced with a call to live better, be thankful
When faced with a call to grow wiser, be thankful
Why? Because God loves you enough to call you to greatness!
Wise people are thankful in all things.

Takeaway Thoughts

God is calling us to grow in Wisdom
God is calling us to be Stronger
God is calling us to Connect with Christ
