Psalm 18:25–30 (NKJV)

25 With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful;
With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You will show Yourself pure;
And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.
27 For You will save the humble people,
But will bring down haughty looks.

Psalm 18:25-27

• O LORD, You are just, holy and righteous. You return to each man those things that are commensurate with His actions.
• Merciful people receive mercy, the blameless will be exposed to a blameless God, pure people will experience a pure God.
• However, the devious will face a shrewd God, with appropriate judgment.
• You save those who are humble, and you bring down the proud and arrogant.
• You are the righteous judge, and there is none like You!
• Help me, Lord, to live in a way that pleases You and brings Your blessings into my life.

28 For You will light my lamp;
The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.
30 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Psalm 18:28-30

• O LORD, You are my light. You dispel the darkness I face each day.
• I pray for Your light to shine on my path every day. In my darkness of soul or emotions, break in a show me Your hopeful light.
• By Your light and You power working in my life, I can run to the battle before me and obtain dominance over my enemies. I will advance and be victorious in my battles!
• By You, O God, I can see the obstacles before me and leap over them as a strong athlete, or as a gazelle leaping over a rise in its path. I will not be stopped by my obstacles, but I will leap over every road block and scale every wall!
• Your instructions are correct, Your road map is perfect! It takes me over and around all obstacles, or else shows me how to go through each one. I can make it to my destinations with Your help, regardless of the difficulty of each stage.
• Your word has never failed. Whatever You speak, it is truth and it will work. I can trust Your word at all times.
• Your protection is flawless. Whatever I face, You will protect me from destruction. Even when I suffer loss, You restore me. I trust in You completely, Lord, and believe You have me hidden behind Your impenetrable shield.
• Keep me from the darkness, Lord. Keep me from my enemies. Keep me from all harm. I know You will, for You are my Lord and Savior, great above all others, powerful and mighty to save.
