5 Come and see the works of God;
He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.
6 He turned the sea into dry land;
They went through the river on foot.
There we will rejoice in Him.
7 He rules by His power forever;
His eyes observe the nations;
Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves.Selah
- Lord, I want to declare Your amazing works to the whole world!
- Your awesome power and might are beyond compare.
- What You do among humanity is nothing less than astounding.
- You can make the sea into dry land, like You did at the Red Sea and the Jordan River.
- When I think of Your great deeds, I will stop and rejoice in You.
- You rule over the earth and all its people. Even when it seems that evil men and women are taking over, I know that You are truly the Lord over all. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the result.
- Lord, stop the hands of the enemies of our souls. Stop Your enemies. Let the schemes of evil people fail.
- You see the nations, the peoples, and You are making this big blue ball spin on its axis. You make the earth orbit around the sun, just close enough, but not too close.
- No not let the wicked or rebellious lift themselves up over others on a pedestal. Please make sure they remember that You are Lord!
- I meditate on Your greatness every day, for You are awesome.
