1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock;
You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!
2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh,
Stir up Your strength,
And come and save us!3 Restore us, O God;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
- Lord, I recognize You as the leader of my life, my Shepherd.
- Guide me, correct me, protect me as I follow Your voice.
- You are the great God who dwells in the Holy Place in the Heavens.
- Shine Your light on me and make me see Your will and plan, Your glory above all others.
- Come among the people of God and stir up our faith.
- Help us to believe for Your great provision and leadership, no matter how grim the circumstances may seem.
- Stir up the strength of our spirits by Your powerful Holy Spirit.
- Restore us when we are weak. Bolster our spirits and strengthen our faith.
- Shine upon the battlefield in which we fight and save us from our enemies. We need You, and we believe in You, O LORD of all the earth!
