Psalm 118:15–29 (NKJV)

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation
Is in the tents of the righteous;
The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted;
The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live,
And declare the works of the LORD.
18 The LORD has chastened me severely,
But He has not given me over to death.

• I rejoice in You, O LORD!
• Your salvation has come to my house and I am thankful.
• You are strong beyond all others, so I lift up Your name.
• You are a valiant leader, my Savior and my Lord.
• Give me life, Lord, and keep death from my door.
• Give me the words to say that I may describe Your greatness to the people.
• I receive any correction You may deem necessary for me.
• Thank You for allowing me to live and not die!

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will go through them,
And I will praise the LORD.
20 This is the gate of the LORD,
Through which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise You,
For You have answered me,
And have become my salvation.

• I long to live a righteous life before You, Father God.
• If You will show me the way, I will walk in it.
• I give Your glory, O Mighty LORD, and I praise Your with my lips.
• You are my faithful God and I will praise You for my provision, salvation, and help!

22 The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
23 This was the LORD’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day the LORD has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

• Though man reject You, I long to build my life upon You.
• You are the only certain and sure foundation.
• You have made my life good, and I seek You to keep me throughout my years.
• You are an amazing God, causing me to look upon You in awe of Your greatness.
• Thank You for this day. Give me the strength to follow You.
• I will rejoice in You and be an example of happiness throughout my day and among all my people.

25 Save now, I pray, O LORD;
O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD!
We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.
27 God is the LORD,
And He has given us light;
Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise You;
You are my God, I will exalt You.

29 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

• Lord, save me from my distressing times.
• Deliver me from the traps set for my feet.
• Prosper me as I follow You, O LORD.
• I will declare to everyone that blessings come from following You.
• I will bless Your name and make You known.
• You are my LORD and the light of my life. You are the source of all that is good in my life.
• I will offer You my all and never take it back. Help me to remain sold out to You at all times.
• I will praise You and thank You. Give me words to say and love to share. Help me to reflect Your glory.
• I long to praise You with every breath, because Your mercy and lovingkindness are eternal and will always be available to me.
• Let the whole earth praise You!
