Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God

1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD!
2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!
- Lord, Your law will be my guide for life. Keep me from sin, and let my life be undefiled by it.
- I long to seek You in the mornings. Reveal Yourself to me, and tell me of Your ways.
- Help me not to sin, and to live in a way that glorifies You in holiness.
- Teach me, Lord, and help me to obey Your precepts at all times.
- I wish I had an angel to keep me from sin, and that my every step were directed by You, O LORD!
- If I had a constant helper, I would not sin. Let me experience Your help, O Holy Spirit, every day.
- I want to live in a way that shame cannot reach me.
- Help me to praise You in all things and at all times.
- Teach me Your ways that I may not fail You.
- Never forsake me, Lord, for I need You every day.
- I love You and I desire Your presence in my life at all times!
