Mark 4:26–29 (NKJV)

26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

This simple explanation of how seeds sprout and grow to produce a harvestable crop is informative and clear. However, it does not explain the miracle that is life. This is the way with our lives and with our life with God. If a person is born again, and grows into a productive disciple of Christ, it is a miracle that is inexplicable. Yet it is a beautiful and beneficial relationship, a covenant. Don’t question the process, don’t sweat the details, simply enjoy the journey. It is phenomenal!
