Psalm 72:8–14 (NKJV)

8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him,
And His enemies will lick the dust.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles
Will bring presents;
The kings of Sheba and Seba
Will offer gifts.
11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him;
All nations shall serve Him.

• O LORD, You are the ruler of the entire earth!
• The animals and sailors of the sea, the inhabitants of the rivers, those who dwell in the woods, fields, and wilderness, and all those who live in cities will fall before You and worship.
• Earthly rulers will bring You gifts, and all the world will submit their lives and their crowns at Your feet.
• Lord, in Your greatness, save us.
• Give us You wisdom and protection, for we bow before You as well.

12 For He will deliver the needy when he cries,
The poor also, and him who has no helper.
13 He will spare the poor and needy,
And will save the souls of the needy.
14 He will redeem their life from oppression and violence;
And precious shall be their blood in His sight.

• Lord, I ask You to supply my needs, and the needs of my brothers and sisters in You.
• Deliver the poor from their poverty.
• Save the lost and set them in families for their good.
• Redeem us from our persecutors and oppressors, evil men and women that would destroy us.
• Give us good leadership and turn our nation toward Your heart.
• Stop the violence that plagues our streets and preserve us from harm.
• Give us what we need, like a Father gives to His children.
• You are our source and strength, and we love You, O LORD. Thank You for loving us!
