14 Return, we beseech You, O God of hosts;
Look down from heaven and see,
And visit this vine
15 And the vineyard which Your right hand has planted,
And the branch that You made strong for Yourself.
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down;
They perish at the rebuke of Your countenance.
17 Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,
Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.
18 Then we will not turn back from You;
Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
- Lord, remember how You blessed us and made us great.
- Look down on our current condition and have mercy on us, O LORD.
- You made us who we were. You gave us the strength to do Your will. You helped us fulfill Your plan.
- Our current condition is desperate. Help us to come back, to be strong again.
- Give us Your anointing and Your power that we might build back the kingdom You have made through us.
- We will not forget You again, O LORD. Help us to never forget You again.
- You are our only source and not we ourselves. We need You. We cannot survive or thrive without You, O LORD.
19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
- Give us another chance, O God.
- Restore us to the place from which we fell, and then take us higher, further, beyond, so that we might bring glory to Your name.
- Shine on us, through us, and in us.
- Save us from ourselves and from the enemy of our souls.
- You are our only hope. In You we will be saved!
