8 Understand, you senseless among the people;
And you fools, when will you be wise?
9 He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?
He who formed the eye, shall He not see?
10 He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct,
He who teaches man knowledge?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man,
That they are futile.
- Lord, help the foolish people of this earth, sometimes including myself, to understand Your truth.
- Help us to become wise. Share Your wisdom with us.
- Lord, You gave us ears, now please help us to hear with a discerning ear.
- You formed our eyes, now inform our eyes to see what You would have us see.
- You have provided the plan for life and life everlasting, now please teach us, correct us, chasten us if necessary, that we might know it.
- Lord, You know our thoughts. We are temporary, futile, useless.
- In Your grace, show us the better way.
