Psalm 99 (NKJV)

Praise to the LORD For His Holiness

1 The LORD reigns;
Let the peoples tremble!
He dwells between the cherubim;
Let the earth be moved!
2 The LORD is great in Zion,
And He is high above all the peoples.
3 Let them praise Your great and awesome name—
He is holy.

• Lord, You are King over my life, my heart, my world!
• I bow before You in holy fear and reverence.
• You are the one who sits on the throne in heaven, and the whole earth will tremble at Your presence.
• Your voice shakes the earth, and I hear You loud and clear.
• You are God above all people.
• I will praise You for Your awesomeness. Your name is revered on my lips. You are my holy Lord!

4 The King’s strength also loves justice;
You have established equity;
You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Exalt the LORD our God,
And worship at His footstool—
He is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron were among His priests,
And Samuel was among those who called upon His name;
They called upon the LORD, and He answered them.
7 He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar;
They kept His testimonies and the ordinance He gave them.

• Lord, Your attributes make You praiseworthy!
• You rule justly and You reward equitably.
• You are righteous and Your reign is full of justice.
• I will exalt You. I will worship at Your feet.
• You are holy.
• Your priests call on You and You answer. I call on Your name now, and I know You will hear me.
• You speak to me with love and grace. You show Your presence to me in miraculous and amazing ways.
• I long to serve You and obey You in all things. Your law is my portion. Your words lead me. Show me Your ways and I will follow You, O LORD!

8 You answered them, O LORD our God;
You were to them God-Who-Forgives,
Though You took vengeance on their deeds.
9 Exalt the LORD our God,
And worship at His holy hill;
For the LORD our God is holy.

• Lord, I know You will answer my prayers. You have always heard me and responded to me.
• Lord, forgive me and heal my heart of sin.
• I know You take vengeance on those who sin against You.
• I also know that You have forgiven me and made me whole.
• I exalt Your name. You are the Lord God.
• I worship You in the congregation of the saints, and I worship You in the fields of Your creation. I worship You. In the hills and valleys, in the desert and in the ocean.
• I worship You wherever I go, for You are holy.
