65 You have dealt well with Your servant,
O LORD, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge,
For I believe Your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are good, and do good;
Teach me Your statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me,
But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease,
But I delight in Your law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.
72 The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.
- Lord, Your word holds true at all times. I thank You that You are a God that deals well with mankind, always true to Your promises.
- Teach me good from Your knowledge and help me to keep Your commandments.
- I know I have failed You at times. Forgive me and help me to always keep the teachings of Your word.
- You are good at all times. You do good to me and my people. Teach me to be like You, O Lord.
- When men lie about me, speak the truth.
- When greedy men seek to take advantage of me, keep me whole and prosperous.
- I delight in You.
- When I am afflicted, help me find comfort in Your statutes and laws.
- I know that a moment in Your word is better than great riches. Keep my mind upon You at all times, and let Your word be on my lips forever.
