Blessings of Those Who Fear the LORD
A Song of Ascents.
1 Blessed is every one who fears the LORD,
Who walks in His ways.2 When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
In the very heart of your house,
Your children like olive plants
All around your table.
4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed
Who fears the LORD.
- Lord, I am thankful for the blessed life You make possible for me!
- I stand in awe of You. I long to follow Your leadership at all times.
- Lord, I ask that You continue to bless the labor of my hands.
- I work hard and praise You for all Your blessings.
- I am happy in Your presence and You are my source and strength.
- I pray for a Godly home and a loving family, not only for me but for all the people of God as we follow You.
- Bless me, O LORD, and help me to always follow You in fear and awe, knowing You as the loving and caring God of the whole earth.
5 The LORD bless you out of Zion,
And may you see the good of Jerusalem
All the days of your life.
6 Yes, may you see your children’s children.Peace be upon Israel!
- Lord, bless us from Your holy hill in heaven.
- Bless our land and make it to prosper.
- Let me live a long life that is full of good.
- Bless me with the strength to see and enjoy my grandchildren.
- Make me strong enough to care for them and watch them marry and have their own children.
- Give my family and my land peace. Bless my city, my state, my nation, and all my friends around the world.
- You are God, and I bless Your name for the great things You have done!
