Psalm 148:1–6 (NKJV)

Praise to the LORD From Creation

1 Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!

• Lord, I will praise You everywhere and at all times.
• I call on all of creation to praise the Lord!
• The birds in the sky, the angels in heaven, the created sun, moon, and stars, the oceans, the mountains, the clouds, and the rain should praise the Lord, and they do!
• Their glory and their beauty testify of the greatness of God.
• Help me to be faithful to glorify You and honor You in all that I do or say.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For He commanded and they were created.
6 He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.

• Lord, help each of us to praise You along with Your creation.
• You brought us into existence, and You command our very lives to persist.
• You gave us souls that will last forever, and You gave Your word that will not pass away.
• Give us minds to understand You, hearts to relate to You, and words and voices to praise You each and every day!
